Spherical roller bearings are single-row roller bearings which are angle-adjustable. A spherical roller bearing consists of a solid outer ring with concave raceway , a solid inner ring with borders on both sides and the spherical roller with cage.
This type of bearing is extremely suitable for withstanding impacting radial loading in addition to compensating for alignment errors. The axial load bearing capacity of this pairing is very low.
Spherical rollers are available both with cylindrical (i.e. straight) and also with conical (i.e. tapered 1:12), bores.

• the bearing is fitted with a border on the inner ring which means that this is not displaceable
